When our current MD, Mr. Hasmukh Patel, first started his journey, the focus was on manufacturing essential electrical components and industrial parts that powered small-scale industries across Mumbai. Everything was progressing well until an unexpected setback challenged the foundation of his hard work. It was a tough period, but it became the turning point that inspired a new vision.
With a clear dream and determination, Mr. Hasmukh Patel decided to create a brand that would stand for reliability, innovation, and quality in the electrical industry. Thus, in the year 2017, in Nallasopara (East), the brand Kano Switches was established. Starting modestly with a small setup and a handful of skilled workers, the company began manufacturing Piano-type switches, sockets, and electrical accessories under its own brand name — “Kano”.
From these humble beginnings, Kano Switches steadily grew by expanding its range into modular switches, plates, and premium electrical fittings designed to meet the evolving needs of modern homes and industries. Over the years, the company earned the trust of electricians, dealers, and customers alike through its commitment to safety and performance.
As the demand increased, new manufacturing units were established in Nallasopara and surrounding industrial zones to keep up with growth. Today, Kano Switches stands tall as a trusted name in the Indian electrical market — a brand built on vision, hard work, and innovation.
What started as a small workshop with a close-knit team has now grown into a family of hundreds of dedicated employees, working together to light up spaces across the nation. Kano Switches – lighting every home, one switch at a time.

Kano Switches has its headquarters and in-house product design facility in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Our pan-India operations are efficiently managed through multiple regional offices across different states of the country. The company manufactures its wide range of electrical products through advanced manufacturing units located in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Telangana. Each unit is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, testing, and quality assurance facilities, ensuring the highest levels of precision and reliability in every product we create.
